From what he sees, it’s just a matter of being consistent and throwing strikes.
“The pitchers are all doing very well,” Lobaton said. “They are throwing good pitches and staying ahead. It’s nice to be back there catching them.”
Cardinals fan : Missions pitcher Matt Buschmann grew up a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Being from Missouri had something to do with it, but the loyalty to the Cardinals was also a family thing.
“You have to be a Cardinal fan when you’re from Missouri,” Buschmann said. “It’s some kind of law. My father was a fan, and my grandfather was a fan. The whole family was Cardinal fans.”
